We had snow yesterday

Living back in Norway , this wouldn't have been a big deal. It would barely have been noticed. But since we are in Texas , this was BIG ! My daughter was in heaven. She even made a snowman that is still standing this morning. An whopping 10 inches tall.
The weather here is so unexpected, One day it's warm and almost muggy , the next day 33F and snow. Got to love the diversity!

We have become Texans, It is official .
We have the pictures to prove it. Just look at our front yard :)

Melanie made the Basket ball team ! And with it , there seems to follow a tradition to put a sign in your front yard. This one is bright and stands out.

More renessanse pictures

Renessance Festival

The day after Thanksgiving we went to the renessance Festival and had a great time.

Lots of great costumes, It was like going back in time.
We had some turkey legs to eat , and got to be pulled by a small wagon. He was really quick on his feet , and was yelling " Coming through" the whole time. We didn't know if we should laugh or feel embarrassed. It's not like we are used to being transported like that :)

We saw a Jousting tournament . It was fascinating. A mud show with a lot of talk , less mud , but fun.

My favorite part was all the costumes. Some were simply amazing. i will upload some more pictures.
